Dear friends,
Many of you will remember our time with you. We labored together in the valley and saw many ups and downs but through it all God was faithful and we continue to trust Him for all that is in store though we do not understand where it may be that He is leading. We are as disappointed as you to see this day, but we know that a new day will dawn soon and that our Lord is able to bring His good and perfect will to pass in every situation. Isaiah 48:17 says,
"17 This is what the LORD says—
your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
'I am the LORD your God,
who teaches you what is best for you,
who directs you in the way you should go.' "
We know that God knows what will come to pass and so we commit you to His grace as you navigate “the way you should go” as He builds His church in Sparwood. As you continue to seek His glory in the valley, our prayer for you is found in Galatians 6:9 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
May you be encouraged as you start the process of replanting and may God bless you as you persevere. He who is faithful, will do it.
Wholly His,
Dave Purdy
