June 16th, 2012 Dear friends,
I wish I could express to you all what a special place you hold in our hearts. As we walk through this life it seems that God’s perfect path for us involves both the good times and the hard times. As we daily follow His gentle leading, we find ourselves on the mountaintops and in the valleys. It seems that where there are seasons of harvest, there are also unfortunately, seasons of pruning.
Please know that, for the Van Siegman family, our time in Sparwood was a precious time of rest, renewal, and growth. We look back on our time there with nothing but cherished memories of special times and dear friendships. It was truly our desire to stay and be with you longer, but alas, God had other things in store! It will come to no surprise to any of you that God continues to be faithful and good even on this new road that He has us on! I trust this will also be true for Sparwood Fellowship Baptist Church!
Don’t forget that it is during the difficult times of question and uncertainty that God’s desire is that we draw nearer to Him. It seems that when we don’t know the future then we are forced like never before to trust in God’s goodness and His sovereignty! Always remember that God is good, that God is faithful, and that God’s plan is far grander than our own!
Please know that you are all dearly missed and regularly surrounded in prayer!
In Christ’s Service,
The Van Siegman Family
